  • Hi all,

    I have bit locker turn on for my window 10 and I am on the blue screen which prompt me for the pin. I didn't have the recover key none I have the pin. can I format it to reuse the machine again? is there a work around?

  • Hello,

    AFAIK, you can format the drive and reuse it, as BitLocker encryption will be removed. Note that all data on the drive may be lost by formatting. You will need to make clean install again.

    Yes, you can.

    In other word, format disk and clean install is the only way to use this computer now.
