Server 2008 NAP Certificate Local computer "certificates types are not available"

  Hi,

  Thank you for your post.

  The guide you could download from Microsoft site URL.

  "certificates types are not available" error when doing 'Obtain a computer certificate on NPS1' on page 25

  Please review if you have done the steps listed in the article before, like:
  .Install an enterprise root CA on DC1
  .Add user1 to the Domain Admins group
  .Join NPS1 to the Contoso.com domain
  Furthermore, ensure you use user1 to logon NPS1 and you could ping DC1 from NPS1.

  Hi,

  This error is usually a permissions problem. You must ensure that the client computer (NPS in this case) and user has permission to enroll a computer certificate. Review these permission settings on the computer certificate template.
