  • When Device Guard is enable, you should make sure it is signed application and the signature is in your trusted signature.

  • Hello Cyber_Defend_team,

    singed application is needed only when your application is not included in Code Integrity Policy. That :::::should not be the reason::::::::::

    ::::Edit::

    But I signed the catalog for my office 13 & it worked

    steps to make it work::

    1> create a Ci policy with office 2013 Installed on the reference machine

    2> Uninstall office 13 from the reference machine & restart the machine

    3> Now run packageInspector, install office 13 again.

    4. create catalog, sign catalog with code signing cert

    4> Enforce the CI Policy on target machine

    5> place the catalog on  C:\Windows\System32\CatRoot\{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE} in target machine

    6> run the setup.exe for the office 2013

    7> it is installed successfully & microsoft setup bootstrapper stopped working will not appear
