  • Hello,

Open File Explorer, go to This PC. Confirm, if the your Windows installation drive has free space. If there is no free space, the error is true and you need to add external storage device or delete existing files to make space on drive.

    Regards.

  • There are a variety of things that can cause a computer to have not enough memory. However, typically the problem is that temporary files may be taking up too much space on your hard drive because the RAM or Random Access Memory is depleted as you open more and more applications.

If you first determine that your computer does have plenty of memory then you can follow these steps to attempt to alleviate the problem:

    1. Run a scan of your complete system checking for viruses, malware, and adware using your anti-virus software.
    2. If anything is found, delete it immediately.
    3. Restart your computer when finished in order to allow all changes to take effect.

Additionally, you can check with the Microsoft support page to see if there is a Hotfix for the specific error you are getting. If there is you can execute it by following the instructions and you will not have to restart your computer once the Hotfix is complete.
