Conditional forwarder for users that don't exist RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have a bit of a unique setup whereby we moving from FOPE to EOP and our company has just split in two which is causing headaches.

If a user does not exist in EOP I would assume that the email will be sent back to the user as an NDR.  I want to be able to say that if anything comes in for user.surname@mydomain.com and it doesn't match any current users redirect it to a smart host.  Is this possible?

    Thank you in advance

this is not possible. What is the intention behind this?

  • We were hoping that we were not going to have to sync the users data from the secondary company as they have their own forest/AD.
