Account locked again and again as sharepoint server is running on same machine RRS feed

  • hi I am facing a issue as sharepoint server 2007 is running on my machine my machine gets locked again and again after installation of moss 2007 i configured my account details .......................can some one tell me exact things which i need to do sothat i can reset my passwords at all places
    
    i have run 3-4 commands from command prompt like farm credential and spservice like but nothing happened
    
    i got this solution Configure the SharePoint servers using a Generic ID , whose password should never expire but as i configured with my personal id then how can i reset my new password in all caches
    
    I have stoped application pool and changed all identity accounts with my id and new psswrd and started .......still same problem
    
    apart from this what is need to be done to resolve system locked problem.
    
    Please help and tell me that secret place from whr my old pswd and new mismatch and lock my account.......................thankssss a tonn to all helping hands :(((((:((((((

  • 1. Check if any of the services (services.msc) is running with your credentials

    2. Check the event log for more info

    3. Check the search or indexing service in SharePoint and see if you ID is associated with them
