Adding Gannt Chart view to project page RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I want to add the same Gannt chart project view (web part?) that is available from the Project Center (if you click on the project name) to the project's SharePoint page.

Is this possible? I was looking through all of the available web parts and while I found the task view of the schedule, I couldn't find a gannt view.

Can this be done or is the only way to see this is through the project center?

    Thanks,

    Byron

  • Hello,

Yes you can add the "Details" web part to the Project Sites. Edit the page, click add a web part, scroll down the categories to Project Web App then select the Details web part and add. This will be the same view with the tasks table to the left and Gantt to the right that you get when you click a project name from the project center.

  • Thanks - I did add this piece, but the only thing that showed up right away was just the timeline. I just went back to the site to try out your solution and now the timeline and the Gannt chart show up.

    Thanks!
