How 2 users remote desktop to same PC but different user account? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    I know that remote desktop only allow one session at a time, but I heard someone told me that we can remote desktop to one computer at a same time, but different account. For example:

    PC1 => PC3 User1

    PC2 => PC3 User2

    I tried before, but Windows not allow me to do so, it will disconnect PC1 connection same as we connect to same user account.

    Thank you.

  • If you deploy RDS on this host - yes, it will be working.

    But apriori only one RDP session is available on client OS and 2 RDP sessions on Server OS.

  • Hi, sorry for late reply.

    While PC1 is connecting to PC3 user1(admin), I'm using PC2 to connect PC3 user2(admin).

    It shows me this message. "Another user is signed in, If you continue, they'll be disconnected. Do you want to sign in anyway?"
