EMS to grant calendar delegation Exchange 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to make one user a delegate on the calendar of another (a conference room). I'm using the following command:

    Set-MailboxCalendarSettings -Identity conferenceRoomAlias -ResourceDelegates userAlias

The error I get back is:

WARNING: An unexpected error has occurred and debug information is being generated: Default Scope and Search Root cannot be set at the same time.
Set-MailboxCalendarSettings : Default Scope and Search Root cannot be set at the same time.

     + CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (:) [Set-MailboxCalendarSettings], NotSupportedException

    What gives? Thanks

  • Hi,
Do you get the same error if you first run $AdminSessionADSettings.ViewEntireForest = $true ?

See: How to Change the Recipient Scope

  • Hi WinadminSM

    What's your default scope setting?

Try Martina's link and Set it to something else then see it will still happen or not.

    Cheers
