  • Microsoft Security Essentials anti-virus is now publicly available and FREE!  http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

Has anyone worked on a script to get Microsoft Security Essentials working on Windows SteadyState?  Virus definitions are updated daily as a Windows Update.

I would imagine the next version of Windows SteadyState (Windows 7 Compatible) would also work with Microsoft Security Essentials!

  • I too am very interested in using the new MSE with SteadyState.  I have downloaded MSE and will be testing it on a few of my currect public access computers but would love for them to be able to auto update.

    Keep me in the loop.

  • MS has no plans to update SS to be compatible with Windows 7. You can view this thread here
