Getting version of installed Office application via Powershell or Batch RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi i am trying to figure out the versions of office installed on all the machines in my domain. I know how to find out the version of office (2010,2013, etc...) but i do not know how to get the version of office whether it is pro or standard.

    reg query "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Word.Application\CurVer"

That is what i am used to, is there any other way to figure out the version of office?

Answers

  • There is an office catalog tool in the Gallery put there by the office team that creates a report of all office products and tools.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
