Critical Event ID or Critical alerts on Exchange 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am looking for list of critical alerts / event ids or MOM rules for exchange 2007, like cluster failover, log shipping problem, database dismount, etc etc...

Anybody has these list for a proactive monitoring on exchange 2007, or the list of event ids that will be generated on exchane 2007.

    Cheers

  • I dont think you'll find a list of everything that could go wrong, but this may help:

If you are using SCOM already then it will take care of that for you.

  • Agree with Andy, I don’t think there’s a full list for the exchange events. However, based on the keywords, you can search the event in the Events and Errors Message Center

SCOM is a good option for monitor the exchange server. The exchange related management pack can help to detect the issue and send the critical events, or alerts
