Scan File Failure:The parent folder was not migrated 0x0111000F RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm trying to migrate data from file server to onedrive for business. With GUI, everything is OK but when I try to do it with Powershell, a lot of files failed : Scan File Failure:The parent folder was not migrated","0x0111000F".

    Any idea ?

    Thanks a lot,

    Alain

  • These articles cannot help me. As I said, SPMT works fine in GUI mode, but when I try to use powershell commands, I receive  this error for each file :
    "Failed","SCAN FAILURE","Scan File Failure:The parent folder was not migrated","0x0111000F".
I tried very simple, just one file on local drive on which SPMT is installed, erveryone full control ... not better ... I'm dissapointed, we have to migrate 3700 users, without automation, It will be a hard work ...

    Import-Module Microsoft.SharePoint.MigrationTool.PowerShell

    $AdminAcct = "xxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xx"
Write-Host "Enter your password" -ForegroundColor Green
    $password = Read-Host -AsSecureString

    $cred = New-Object -TypeName System.Management.Automation.PSCredential -argumentlist $AdminAcct, $password

    Register-SPMTMigration -SPOCredential $cred -Force

    Add-SPMTTask -FileShareSource "D:\temp\810480\" -TargetSiteUrl "https://xxxxxxxxx-my.sharepoint.com/personal/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx" -TargetList "Documents"
    Start-SPMTMigration

    Unregister-SPMTMigration
