I've been working on this for a few days now. I have a DC server on 2008 r2. All my servers have been updated. If I remove a server from the domain server manager opens just fine. If I add the server back to the domain I get the following error message below.

At first I thought this might be a .Net issue. I updated .Net, repaired, remove .Net. Still nothing. Only after I remove the server from the domain does it open server manager alright.
There has to be some change that needs to be made on my domain that would allow server that are on the domain to open server manager. Please help.
