How exactly does DVD Maker deal with interlaced footage? I had a 720x480 interlaced video, but DVD Maker deinterlaced the footage (blended the fields) which I did not want. The source however was 30fps and not 29.97fps, so I'm guessing DVD Maker saw that, then immediately figured it wasn't NTSC and blended everything down to 30P. I now have the file at 29.97fps, 720x480 interlaced, but I don't want to waste another DVD testing it. Can anyone here tell me if DVD Maker will keep my footage interlaced?
Is there a way to disable the automatic generation of "scenes"? From my web searches, it seems like the answer is no, but I just wanted to verify it here.
