"SCRIPT70: Permission denied" error when trying to access old document from reloaded iframe RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am facing the issue similar to the one posted in the following thread and i see that its still active but i am not sure if this is fixed as i still see this issue happening while trying to access existing document from a reloaded frame. I see that there is a note from MS that its not being addressed currently but its so many months now and i am not sure if this has still not been addressed. Could some one please let me know if this issue is addressed if not any other generic work arounds ? as i see that most of the workarounds suggested are specific to their use cases and they dont fit in my case. Here is the link

    Thanks

  • Hi kamalesh,

Please post questions about html, css and scripting for web development to the IE Web Developer forum. Include with your questions a link to your website or a mashup that shows the issue.

Have you tried the two workarounds suggested on your connect ticket?

Have you checked the status of the jQuery bugs ticket?

Are you still about to reproduce the issue in IE10,11 or the Dev versions? with the latest jquery version?

    Regards.

  • Hi Rob,

    Thanks fr your resp...

Its an internal site and i am nt sure if i could show that via a link.

Also as i mentioned in my prev post those workarounds are specific to the issues they faced with attachevent while using jquery. We dont use Jquery and its plain javascript code and those workarounds are not related to the issue that we are seeing.. just the behavior is the same that the reload frame cannot access old document.

and i see that this has been accepted as an issue with ie11 so i am not sure which other forum to post this to, as this was the one that was specific for ie11. could you please point me to the link of the forum where i could repost this issue?

    Thanks

    Kamalesh.

  • Hi,

I'm seeing the same problem on our local SharePoint 2010 list item forms.

The error messages appear on all of SharePoint list item forms but I believe it is preventing our custom JavaScript scripts from running.

    IE11 Developer Tools console output:
