How about your non-migrated user send emails to other domain?

Can your Exchange Server 2010 receive emails from other domains?

If your Exchange 2010 also cannot receive emails from other domain, please make sure your Exchange 2010 is configured well (eg: mx record setting for your Exchange 2010)

Maybe you can use this tool to help you troubleshoot the issue (do one inbound email test for your Exchange 2010):

  • You've chosen the wrong forum for your question; it isn't at all related to HA or DR.

Regarding 2), what happens when they try?
