Post Deployment Issue with Windows Updates RRS feed

  • Question

  • Ever since the release of 1703 my Windows 10 Pro deployments have the following message after I create a new user. "Some settings are managed or hidden by your organization". I have tried everything I can think of to resolve the issue.

There is nothing tricky about the TS, simply deploying the Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft. No custom steps at all.

If I disable the Windows Update steps in the TS, I do not experience this issue. Obviously this is not optimal, but if this is the solution so be it.

I have no issues with deploying the Home version at all.

    Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions?

  • Not sure where you are seeing this, can you supply more context as to where this is happening?

It's possible that the ZTIWIndowsUpdate.wsf script has modified the default settings in the registry, thus putting the Windows Update Agent in a state where it thinks it's being managed by something else.
