Role to allow individual to delete mobile phone partnership RRS feed

  • Question

  • Does anyone know if there is a role or specific permission that can be given to say a helpdesk person to allow them to just deleted
mobile phone partnerships in Exchange 2010?

I am trying to give a helpdesk individual the access required to deleted mobile phone partnerships without allowing them any other
access to the mailbox accounts if possible.

    Thanks,

  • Hi tzinger,

If you want to have the permission to delete mobile phone partnership, or Remove-ActiveSyncDevice, you should be assigned the "Recipient Management" Role Group by default.

    Remove-ActiveSyncDevice
But if you want to your helpdesk to just delete parternship, you have to create a custom Role based on the "Mail Recipients" Role, remove any other Role Entry other than Remove-ActiveSyncDevice, then assign the custom Role to the Helpdesk person, thus the Helpdesk person can manage the parternship using EMS.
    Create a Role
Remove a Role Entry from a Role
Add a Role to a User or USG
