Edge transport rule problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to create a rule on the edge transport server to do the following:-

If an email is being sent with particular text in the subject then it can only be sent to specific domains such as remote1.com, sub.remote1.com, remote2.com etc. The problem I have is that if an email is addresses to 2 ecipients, one in an acceptable domain and the other in a non-aceptable domain then because of the logic it gets sent because the rule passes that e.g. remote1.com appeears in the addresees. How can I get round this. I had hoped that the email would be 'burst' before the rule then it is only checking one address at a time bu it doesn't seem to work that way.

  • Hi,

If we use condition like, then how is the issue?

If any email contain particular text, then it will drop except send email to the following domains: remote1.com,sub.remote1.com...
