  • Hi,

A glue record is the IP address of a name server held at the Domain Name registry. Glue records are required when you wish to set the name servers of a domain name to a hostname under the domain name itself.

Moreover, a Start of Authority (SOA) resource record indicates that this DNS name server is the best source of information for the data within this DNS domain. You can refer to below article to manage the start of authority (SOA) record for a zone: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc787600(v=ws.10).aspx

You can us MSToolBox to test domain health, for your reference: http://mxtoolbox.com/domain/

  • I recommend you find a DNS forum.  This one is for Microsoft Exchange Server 2013.
