Accessing Resources working even if DCA says "Corporate connectivity is not working correctly." RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi I´m currently working on setup of Forefront UAG DirectAccess, I have one client connected thru external network.  The client is able to connect thru DirectAccess and I´m able to access resources within internal network. Now the DSA says "Corporate connectivity is not working correctly." and I don´t know what the problem is.  Few minutes ago I tried to connect with out any result so I checked the certificate of the IPHTTPS and it is correct, the client has the CA certificate in trusted root so it should work but it did not.  So I checked the IIS on the UAG and found out that the certificate on the default website was "default website", I changed the certificate to the IPHTTPS certificate and now I´m able to access resources with out a problem, but the DirectAccess client still complains about the corporate connectivity.  Anyone knows what the issue could be?

Btw : If I type in "netsh int httpstunnel show interface" I get

Interface Status : IPHTTPS interface deactivated

If I use "netsh interface teredo set state disabled" and try again with "netsh int httpstunnel show interface" I get

Interface Status : IPHTTPS interface active

  • Found out what the issue was, little embaresed to talk about it but here it is.  The Group Policy which contains the "DirectAccess Connectivity Assitant" admx policy has "Corporate Resources" and the list in "Corporate Resources" had incorrect settings, I had the teredo IPv6 number there, so I changed it to the few servers which the client will be using in the future.  Now I get "Corporate connectivity is working correctly". :)
