Hi ,
According to your description, my understanding is that you encountered the error “UserProfileApplicationProxy.ApplicationProperties ProfilePropertyCache does not have xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx” when you try to access user profile service application.
For troubleshooting your issue, please take steps as below:
- Open Central Administration… Manage Service Applications…
- Select the User Profile service application, but don’t click “inside” of it, just to the right of the text, so that the row is highlighted and the ribbon is shown
- In the “Sharing” group of the ribbon, click “Permissions”
- In this prompt, put in your service account that is running your SecurityTokenServiceApplication Pool.

HI Yagya,As you said its intermittent issue. We can find the exact issue from Correlation ID where its generated.By knowing the server, where its generated.Restart the services and check if the issues is occuring again.
To know from Correlation iD:http://expertsharepoint.blogspot.de/2014/07/how-to-find-correlation-id-error.html
Check the user profiles under post categories on same blog for more resolutions.

This is a intermittent issue and so far an IISRESET is the workaround to fix it but we are looking for a permanent solution.

We have already added the app pool account of SecurityTokenServiceApplication to UPA with Full control. The issue is occuring on multiple environment Independent of each other.

Hi Anil,
Correlation ID is unique to environment and its not present in entire internet search.
Service restart is temprory fix of the issue and we can not perform it everytime the issue occurs.
We are facing the issue in multiple environment Independent of each other.
