APPV infrastructure

Question

?I am trying to implement APPV in our test environment.I have sequenced my application. Now as far as delivery goes, I havemultiple options. Can I just use a streaming server to do the delivery (the app v client isalready installed and configured)? Do I need a APPV Management Server.Basically, If I use a streaming server/ESD or the MSI way - do I need a APPVManagement Server or can I get the virtualized app working on the clientwithout it.I understand the benefits of MS in this like - active upgrades, meteringetc.. However in my test, I am trying not to use it.--Regards,VSThursday, October 28, 2010 1:25 AM

The Management Server is not a requirement; however without it you will need an alternate method of delivering the applications to users - this could be using the SFTMIME command, using the Windows Installer or SCCM.
