Script error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Just installed IE11.  When I go to open it, I get the message, "An error has occurred on the script on this page, Line 15, Char 2, Error: member not found, Code 0, URL.... Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes No" Then I end up in a loop of nothingness that goes nowhere, so I have to use the Task Manager to get out.  How do I restore functionality?  I am on Chrome at the moment but do not want to lose my Favorites.  I have tried checking and unchecking the boxes Under Tools/Advanced, and that does not help.

Please understand that reset Internet Explorer to its default configuration. This step will also disable any add-ons, plug-ins, or toolbars that are installed.

If the issue persists,  please perform the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.

    2. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

    3. Click the Advanced tab, select the Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes.

    4. Clear the Display a notification about every script error check box, and then click OK.

In addition, you may refer to the following KB to check the issue:
