Client crashes when connecting / disconnecting devices RRS feed

  • Question

  • Skype For business crashes when I move from network to network. So when I am in amsterdam and disconnect from the
docking and move to a meeting room, it crashes. When I connect the network cable in the meeting room and after the
meeting room move back to my desk (disconnecting the network cable) skype for business crashes.

When i put my laptop in hibernate at the end of the day and start it up at home again the following day, skype for
    business crashes.

At our docking stations we have connected Polycom USB skype phones.

Docking stations without USB skype phones connected do NOT have this issue.

Only occurs on Windows 7 not on Windows 10.

  • Hi Feitze Mast,

Did the issue happen to all clients in your environment ?

If the issue just appeared on the specific client, please try to rebuild SFB profile and install the latest update for your SFB client.

You could also try to repair office.

For your windows 7 client, please also install the latest update for it, then test again.

Hope this reply is helpful to you.
