Not a long time ago I could see these files as thumbnails on the desktop or in explorer. Not any more and I don't know what cased it. Reinstalling the codec does not help.
Not one expert knows why w7 worked yesterday but not today for no apparent reason except 3 critical updates that might have contributed? I used PSR to document this issue, any expert willing to look at it?
