Internet Explorer favorites not updating RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am having issues with modifying my favorites in the Internet Explorer Beta that came with the Windows 7 upgrade. Basically, when I make any changes (whether it's to delete or move a bookmark to a folder) they are not immediate. I must restart the browser to see the changes. This is pretty annoying as I have quite a few bookmarks that I am trying to organize. Does anyone know of a fix for this yet?

  • Microsoft is aware of this error, and I have the same problem.  They have told me they are working on it, and I logged it into the Connections website last week.  No solution yet, but i am sure they will have on in a patch or the next version update.

  • This isn't an answer, it is a best practice.  It needs to be patched, and those patches are not available, so the problem persists.  The patch that resolved the problem would be a solution, but that does not yet exist, so the correct answer is that they have been notified, and are, presumably working on it...to be exact.
