Blutonium BCM2035 Bluetooth and Vista RC1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I noticed a comment elsewhere regarding this, but under the heading "Bad Graphics Driver", so thought I'd repost under a more appropriate heading, and with a more step-by-step account of how I got it to work.

I'm using this Bluetooth enumerator on an Acer Ferrari 4005, with the 64-bit version of Vista. When I switched the bluetooth device on, the devices began to install automatically. But then failed, without giving any reason, apart from "This device cannot be started (Code 10)."

I found the other post, and decided to try again. Below is how I succeeded:

    • From the Start button, select Control Panel - System - Device Manager.
    • Right-click the device name, and choose "Update Driver".
    • Then select "Browse my computer for driver software"
    • Then "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
    • The driver name will appear.
    • Select it and click next. It should install successfully this time.
