  • The thin-client connects to the RDS server via the RDP client. The App-V client is installed on the RDS server.

  • So Far I have configured one RDS server and one App-V server.

Installed the RDS client on RDS server and all published apps are accessible.

Can I have any Document to configure the DELL WYSE thin client to access both RDS and APP-V Published App's?

Note: The Thin client device is a new one, Not yet configured any basic settings.

    Julie

  • Hi,

http://www.wyse.com/support/documentation links shouöd have some documentation about how to configure the ThinClient to connect to an RDS Server. Also the vendor that sold you the TC should have such information.

As the App-V Client only runs on the RDS Server, there is no special configuration on ThinClients for App-V. You configure the ThinClient to connect to am´n RDS or Citrix Server or Desktop, the App-V Applications are executed on these RDS/Citrix machines.

  • Thanks for your Reply Guys.

I'm trying to connect RDS server here from below Thin client device.

    Vendor :Dell Wyse Thin Client
    Model : Cx0
    OS : Linux
    Firmware: 8.0.*

As soon as I plugged in the device, have configured the Network settings (Static IP, DNS Domain and DNS server) and Now RDS server is accessible through Ping and RDP.

But while configuring the remote connection of App I’m getting the following error

    Error: “SSL: Error ERR_CERT_Expired !
SSL: unable to setup connection, (err=-7606)”

Note: Self signed Certificates are not expired and valid till 2015.

Question: Kindly help me to configure the Remote connection from Thin client, if someone has experience, since there is no option to work with Vendor
