VISTA X64 NOT SHOWING ALL INSTALED RAM RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have read the 4gb RAM thread. It does not gives a answer (yet) Does anyone knows how it is posible that VISTA x64 Does not shows all installed RAM. I have 4 GB DDRII pc6400 RAM installed. My mobo supports up to 8 GB. First VISTA showed only 2,5 GB of RAM. So i disabled the SUPER I/O in my bios. That just helped a litle bit. Now Vista shows 2,99 MB RAM. This stil is not the full 4096 Mb RAM.  I read that VISTA reserves RAM for hardware Bud they say it can be disabled PEA etc. Bud i can not.

Anyone here that can help me ?
