  • Hi ,

    I used the msdn's tutorials .. SSIS/SSAS and for you SSMS .

It is an easy step by step using the familiar AdventureWorks db .

    Good Luck :)

  • You can find some tutorials at MVA = Microsoft Virtual Academy: https://mva.microsoft.com/en-us/training-courses/implementing-a-data-warehouse-with-sql-server-jump-start-8257

  • Hi Bhanu

You could start learning the basics in 2-3 weeks, not the entire stuff.

There are two thought leaders, Kimball and Inmon

To look at Kimball practices, you could start from here http://www.kimballgroup.com/

There is also some comparison of the approaches.

Its not something you could master in 2-3 weeks, you will get some idea though

    Cheers

  • Two books that I would recommend.

    1. The Data Warehouse Toolkit by Ralph Kimball

    2. Star Schema by Christopher Adamson

Of course there is Inmon as well as others have mentioned.
