  • Can you please tell me the latest version of SQL Server 2008 R2 that is suported for SCCM 2007 SP2 R3.

    1 To use SQL Server 2012 to host the site database, you must install the following updates as described in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    Additionally, to use SQL Server 2012 for the site database, you must upgrade the instance of SQL Server in use at a site from SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2008 R2 to SQL Server 2012. It is not supported to install a new Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 site with SQL Server 2012. It is also not supported to install Configuration Manager 2007 R3 when SQL Server 2012 is in already in use for the site database.
