  • Hi steinson,

    Thank you for your question.

Windows might not read your user profile correctly, such as if your antivirus software is scanning your computer while you try to log on. we try restarting your computer and logging on with your user account again to resolve the issue.

If you restart your computer and it does not resolve this issue, use the following methods to resolve this issue:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/947215

Notice: we must backup register before we modify it by the following link:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/322756

In addition, we could also create a new account and copy Window profile to new account.

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

    Best Regard,

    Jim

  • Were you logged in with a temporary profile?

Care to be a bit more specific about what is going on?
