Hi Sathish samy,
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 does not support Business Intelligence Development Studio Integration Services, Report Services and Analysis Services projects for SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2. To work around this issue, you can install Visual Studio 2008 alongside Visual Studio 2010 on the same machine and then open the Business Intelligence Development Studio projects in Visual Studio 2008.
Thanks,

Hi Satish,
You'll need to install SQL Server 2012 data tools available for download here - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/data/hh297027
Also, see this - http://www.sqlservercentral.com/blogs/jamesserra/2012/07/25/visual-studio-2012-does-not-support-bi/#comments
Hope this helps!

which edition of SQL Server 2008 R2 do you have? Express, Standard, developer, etc? I am pointing this out because not all editions come with "BI" features - like express edition does not have BI features.

SQL Server 2008 R2 integrates with VS 2008. There is no way to make it work with VS 2010.
To use VS 2010, you need to upgrade to SQL Server 2012.
