  • Hi Karan,

    >>Randomly some of  my client system are getting slowness issue to access the file.Have you tried to ping file server when client get access issue?

Did it return the correct IP address of fileserver? Have you tried to access file server by IP address? Is it normal?

Is the record of file server static?

On client, have you enabled DNS caching?

    >>When i did ip release and renew its back to normal process i.e running on good speed.

Did you mean that you release IP address on client? Did other clients show the same issue?

    Best Regards

    John

  • I encountered a similar problem once.

what solved it for me, was to force the LAN NIC to the actual network speed, instead of letting it auto negotiate.

    good luck

  • Thanks Coetzee,

Yes, already we did auto negotiate. But not working.

  • no problem.

But I meant instead of using auto negotiate, to rather set the nic speed. IE: 100mbps or 1000mbps

    cheers.

  • Hi Karan,

Please run tracert command to check which gateway was taken lot of time.

You could check bandwidth by using network monitor when client get slowness access.

    Best Regards
