am not able to run a batch file in windows 7 that works in XP RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a .bat file I use at work to create job folders in our network.

I can fully execute the file on a computer running XP. On my new machine (running Win 7 Pro 64), it runs, accepts the inputs, then replies

"the system cannot find the path specified"

    "access denied"

    "0 files copied"

It does create the root folder, but does not create the sub-folders. Why?

Thank you for any help you can provide. I can forward you the batch file if you would like to see the contents.

  • Can you post the commands from the batch file?

  • Yes, please copy the contents so we can check if there is any mistake.

Meantime I suggest you run the batch file as administrator and see if the issue occurs.
