FCS Updates Causing Random Reboots RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are seeing servers randomly reboot during the middle of the day. The only thing we can find that could be causing this is that the servers had gotten definition updates sometime before the reboot. Thing is it's not every server, it's not every update and it's not immediately after the update. We have on occasion logged into a server after the reboot and saw a balloon notification that states the server was updated because it got updates. In the details the updates are FCS definition updates. Has anyone else ever seen anything like this? Is there a way to stop it?

  • Hi John!

You say it's not all servers and not all the time. Between a server that is rebooting and a server that is not, is the client (not the definition version) the same version and the latest version?

  • Johan,

I tried contacting you offline but maybe have a bad email address for you. Can you email me at my gmail address please? I should be in the GAL. :-)
