Windows 10 stopped recognizing my logitech sound speakers z506! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Yesterday, my system had some update and the day after my speakers topped working.

The device is plugged with plugs and not a usb and there is no driver.

I tried to search for the drivers. But their site says:

Software is not needed for this product.

I tried to search for a solution on the internet, such as uninstalling and updating my driver. Windows 10 did recognize my device in the playback devices category.

I reset all my windows 10, and now it doesnt recognize that I have an audio input. It does however recognize my steelengine headphones that have a driver for them.

Where is the fault? There isnt much I can do! I unplugged and plugged the speakers.. and there was no result. If windows drivers and manufacturers drivers dont help me.. how can I recognize the device and make it work? or is it a hardware problem and I should buy new speakers?

The solution of downloading an old Realtek driver and running didnt help. But it did make my speakers recognizable!

Okay, the driver is working. I can test my speakers for sounds..but not all my speakers omit sounds. May that is the reason? Is it a hardware or software problem?
