How to route sub domain emails to another internal mail server RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are running SBS 2008 with exchange 2007.

    Internal domain is called mycompany.com

How can we route sub emails for abc.mycompany.com to an internal server e.g. 192.168.0.20 , instead of trying to route it out the internet, but to route it internally.

example john@abc.mycompany.com , needs to be delivered to internal address 192.168.0.20

This needs to be for all sub domain specificed.

THough by adding a internal MX record to SBS 2008 DNS for abc.mycompany.com to FDNQ abc (which points to 192.168.0.20) would be the anwer but not sure.
