Enable administrator account. RRS feed

  • I have tried everything have found pretaining to this issue.  I cannot enable the admin account, tried in Safe Mode and normal.  I get access denied.

    Do you want to enable the built-in administrator? Or want to set the current user as an administrator?

     

    Only administrator can set the user with administrative privilege. And refer to this case http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/itprovistasecurity/thread/f3af96ae-f0e1-4c88-a8ae-1ea110a5a9dd , follow Robinson Zhang’s reply to enable the built-in administrator.

  • You must run it from a command prompt with admin rights:
