Granfeldt PS MA Export question RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm using Mr Granfeldts excellent PS MA but I ran into a small problem.

During export the script is called multiple times depending on the number of objects and the batch-size configured in my Export run profile. The begin and end sections are called every time the script runs but I need a way to find out when the end time is called for the last time. Are there any control variables available that I can check? I could not find any documentation regarding that.

    Thanks

    Joakim

  • Hi

In the current version there is no way to discover that unfortunately. Also, the ECMA framework itself does not tell you how many exports you're gonna get, so there is now way (that I know of) to get that information and pass that to the script.

One way, I could think of is checking whether you get less objects than the pagesize in the pipeline and "assume" that that is the last call.

I could maybe look into setting a variable in future version of the MA, if I could figure out a way to determine whether it is the last batch.
