Find the computer's group memberships while offline without administrator access? RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do I find the computer's group memberships on an offline windows 10 system without administrator access? I do not need to make changes. I do not need the name to resolve to human readable information. I am working on a script that needs to make decisions while the workstation might be offline. I want to sort the machines with AD groups. I need to allow a script to run as the user. I need to know what the computers group memberships are while the computer might be attached to a coffee shop WiFi or in use at their home office.

While gpresult has an example of what I'm looking for and works offline, the computer scope requires administrator access.

An example of what I am looking for can be found with GPRESULT /SCOPE COMPUTER /R
