  • Hi rwyoung04,

From the discussion between you and Sedat, I get your requirement is to display one group records at one page, right? If so, you can put the tablix into a list control to achieve your issue, the following detailed steps are for your reference:

    1.      Drag a list control onto the report border.

    2.      Right-click the Details1 in the Row Groups dialog box, and then select Group Properties.

    3.      Click the Add button, and select your group datafield.

    4.      Click OK

    5.      Drag the tablix to the list

Note: Make sure the boundaries of the tablix are clearly within the boundaries of the list

Preview the report; you will see one group record on one report page. You can still drag a textbox to the list, just above the tablix to show the special group name.

If you have any question about the steps, please feel free to ask.

All replies

  • at the dataset write down your query without group by

put your columns to the table

    after that

go to the row group panel

and drag the grouping column above the details

    so you have groups

and then click the arrow on the grouping column -> properties

-> page break -> select page break after group

  • do not use a static field

use a textbox and write an expression in it

  • should i have created this as a single report that i pass the parms to so that it generates the report multiple times for all the customers.

  • i think you don't need to we could find some expression to correct this

    you could try

    =First(ReportItems("FirstName").Value)

or you could look at the link

  • so if I want all my free form data fields to page break with the tablix, I have to change all those expressions for the fields.  Is it suppose to be this complicated to build a page break for each customer or have I missed something when I designed my report.
