desktop icons are missing RRS feed

  • Desktop icons are missing after joining to a domain,

    machine was installed through MDT  image,

    it seems that problem with installer

    troubleshooting till now :// sfc ,chkdsk,msconfig, disable all non microsoft software,icon cache file deleted.

    cachedb.

  • After you join the domain, you must log on with your domain account but not local account. Some of the Desktop icons of your local account should be per user so they does not displayed in other accounts, include your domain account.

  • Make a right click on the desktop, select "View"->"Display Desktop Icons".
