Cannot download Adobe Flash Player of any kind o

I used to have Adobe Flash player ffine and so enabled to watch /listen Youtube etc or iplayer for the BBC and so on.

I had some virus problems with a search engine which I managed to get rid of.

Adobe Flash Player seemed to have gone. When I tried to download it prompted by iplayer, there did seem to be a successful download. The icon appeared in my control panel programme box but not on the desktop or programme panel. Then I discovered the download had not happened. I have tried many times through Adobe and other dowload websites. I have tried various types of Flash player - no result. help?

Firstly, since you faced issue with Virus, I suggest download and run a full system scan with:

http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

If anything detect remove them.

Run Windows Update and install all updates and restart your PC and uninstall flash player and restart your PC again.

Then download and run Flash Player again and if problem persist, take a look at:

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html
