IPhone 4 / UAG / Exchange 2003 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Are there any issues with the configuration of iPhone 4 / UAG / Exchange 2003? I just read through the thread regarding IPhone  / UAG /Exchange 2010 and it looks there are issues with that configuration until Apple comes out with their fix in 4.1.

We are currently not having any issues wit iPhone4 / IAG 2007/ Exchange 2003 but we need to upgrade our current IAG to a UAG in order to migrate to Exchange 2010 as that s a requirement. I would like to know if there are any known issues with the IPhone 4, Droid etc... connecting via Exchange Active Sync through a UAG to Exchange 2003 SP2?

  • Hi,

As Ben as said, unfortunatly Microsoft does not comment on 3rd party implementations of the Exchange ActiveSync protocol and only guarantees the fidelity of the Exchange ActiveSync experience when used with Windows Phone devices.  Perhaps there are others in the forum who can share with you and provide their experiences with specific devices and their implementation of the ActiveSync protocol.

In regards to UAG specifically, there are no currently reported compatibility issues that Microsoft Support is aware of with UAG as a application gateway for ActiveSync to any shipping versions of Exchange with any devices.

  • I'm afraid this topic cannot be addressed in a public discussion such as this. Please contact your account manager at Microsoft if you have compatibility concerns with any 3rd party products.
