  • Hi All,

From yesterday our SCCM Central has become very Slow. the console. logs and other related to SCCM are opening very Slow.

Could you please let us know what Troubleshooting needs to be done in order to improve the performance.

Is this related to OS Issue or Application related issue. Please help us on this.

The System performace is ok and the Server is getting slow once SCCM Console is opened.

  • Please let us know any Technical Document for the reboot required. i need to provide to the Top level.

IMO, it is clear from the error message that you are having a server issue. The MMC just doesn't crash like that. A reboot will clean out the memory and give you a good starting point to do additional troubleshooting, if the problem returns.

You can choose not to do the reboot but then you are not starting from a known good point in time. This will significantly increase you troubleshooting time and effort.

  • Always start looking at the size of INBOX folders and check whether there is any back log of file/s or not. Also, take a look at the CM log files to get more details about CM related activities. Using of Performance Monitor and monitoring event logs can provide you some hints related to OS issue (if you've any).
