Windows 7 64-bit does not recognize 1 of the 4 partitions after reboot RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently rebuild my computer. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit onto a 64 Gb Solid State HD. After the install I added A 2 TB Hitachi HD and partitioned it out in 4 sections. Everything worked well until I rebooted, at which point my 800GB partition is no longer recognized. Is there a way to get Windows to recognize it again without loss of data?

  • Hi ghostpawllc,

    Thanks for the post!

Go to your Disk Management, could you find that partition here? Please manually assign a drive letter for it to check if it can be recognized.
