  • Hi all,

I've created a Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise provisioning profile and applied it to a handset, however it has not applied, it's showing in the profile list just has not enabled the Enterprise features, anyone had this issue?

  • Anand,

This has now been resolved, a reboot is required to be initiated by the OS to uptake the settings.

  • Greg,

could you elaborate what "created a Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise provisioning profile" means please? could you let us know what it is that you did (should we need to reproduce it locally).

  • Anand,

I created a provisioning profile using 'Windows Imaging and Configuration Designer', the setting is used were:

'New Project' > 'Provisioning package' > 'Common to all Windows mobile editions' > 'Runtime settings' > 'EditionUpgrade' > 'UpgradeEditionWithLicence' > added 'mobileenterprise.xml' (From the MSDN portal)

and then added the provisioning profile to the handset, however it does not force a reboot and does not activate the enterprise elements of the OS.

  • Greg,

there isn't a reboot involved with upgrading the edition using a license. The quickest way to check would be to navigate on the device to Settings -> System -> About -> Device Information -> Software -> Windows 10 Mobile (before applying the package) and Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise (after applying the package)

Which 'enterprise elements' were you expecting to be able to use?
